Reading beyond the balance sheet.

A workshop on “From Sustainability Disclosure to Investment Decisions: The Role of Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting” was held at GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research for the PGDM Finance specialisation batch on 19 September 2026.

The session was led by Mr Anand Rawani, CFA, Director of Sustainability, Teton Advisors Inc., who shared practical insights into how ESG and BRSR disclosures can complement traditional financial indicators and support investment analysis.

Students also explored a practical comparison of Polycab India, KEI Industries, R R Kabel and Finolex Cables, understanding how sustainability disclosures can be interpreted, compared and connected with financial performance.

A session that brought finance, sustainability and real-world investment analysis together in the classroom.
